Let's Not Wait

It's fucking Monday morning
I don't like what I'm doing
It's decided by tomorrow
It's no longer me

Love went far away
I cried about it for centuries
It's decided by tomorrow
I will stop crying

I make life my flag
I see life as a gift

We don't have time to get tired
We don't have time to get old
We don't have time to languish
We don't have time, but years
We don't have time, be quiet already
We don't have time to languish
Let's not wait to live
Let's not wait to live

That friend never came
The friend that would promise the moon
Tomorrow, I'm getting Saturn
Without him

That train never came
The train to paradise
Tomorrow, I'm going my own way
Without it

I make life my flag
I see life as a gift

We don't have time to get tired
We don't have time to get old
We don't have time to languish
We don't have time, but years
We don't have time, be quiet already
We don't have time to languish
Let's not wait to live
Let's not wait to live
Let's not wait to live, no
Let's not wait to live, no

I make life my flag
I see life as a gift

We don't have time to get tired
We don't have time to get old
We don't have time to languish
We don't have time, but years
We don't have time, be quiet already
We don't have time to languish
Let's not wait to live
Let's not wait
Let's not wait to live
Let's not wait
Let's not wait

Je m’arrête (de pleurer) -> more like "I stop (crying)"

pas le temps de se tasser -> "settle down" would rather be "se poser" when talking about people.
"se tasser" can mean "settle down" only for a situation (la situation va se tasser -> the situation will sort itself out).
For people, "se tasser" could be like "s'entasser" (bunch up) or "shrink" (losing height, typically due to old age).
Frankly I don't know what he means here :)

non mais la paix -> that could also be read as "be quiet already!" :)
Again I don't know what he means

Thank you for your comment! I will fix the translations you recommended... I have a hard time translating Vianney's lyrics a lot because they don't always make sense... Thanks!
