Ξύπνησα νωρίς, δίπλα μου κοιμόσουν
Ούτε ξέρω τι ονειρευόσουν
Δε σε φίλησα, δε σε σκέπασα
Να φύγω σαν τον κλέφτη έτρεξα...
Την πόρτα έκλεισα σιγά τ'αμάξι έβαλα μπροστά
Και στην καρδιά μου είπα να χτυπά αθόρυβα
Γκάζι πατάω δυνατά ένα τσιγάρο και φωτιά
Μα να τ'ανάψω κοριτσάκι μου δεν πρόλαβα...
Ξέχνα όσα είπα χτες το βράδυ

Λιώμα θα 'ρχομαι μες στο σκοτάδι
