Since this is a song from Aegean Macedonia, the beauty of the girl Lena is expressed through things from towns in that part of Macedonia. With that being said:
- воденски черешни (черешни од Воден) => cherries of Edessa (the town was called Vodena up to 1923). Voden in Macedonian (воден) means the 'the wet one', an apt name for the town know for its lakes and waterfalls near it;
- костурско кутивче (кутивче од Костур) => little box of Kastoria.
With that being said, you can imagine how wrong and out of place the translation "carcass' coffin" sounds in this lovely romantic song. I think that a nice translation for 'костурско кутивче' is 'a little jewel box of Kastoria/Kostur'.
Also, I don't know about the other countries in the Balkans that have these things, but simit (симит) is definitely not also know as gjevrek (ѓеврек). They are considered as different things.
