'Décimer l'amour' pour moi c'est assez clair - critiquer l'amour et son existence même, dire ne jamais vouloir s'engager ni se donner à une personne, considérer l'amour comme un tissu d'inepties et de 'mensonges pour les idiots', et donc se conforter dans des relations sans attaches ni lendemains comme celle décrite dans la chanson... sans pour autant jamais avoir réellement connu l'amour. L'amour que la personne découvre auprès de cette autre qui lui était interdite puisque la relation n'était que purement physique.
Pour le reste cependant, j'ai eu un peu de mal à traduire, oui... le 'passera' signifiait d'abord pour moi l'idée de tolérer, dans l'expression 'Ça passe'. Un peu comme si tout ne pourrait pas être permis pour toujours sous le couvert des bars sombres et des soirées, et qu'un jour il faudrait assumer cette relation. Mais faute de certitude, j'ai préféré aller vers le sens de 'se passer'...
