Orange

Hey you girl, like apple blush,
they say that orange has gave birth to me.
It wasnt orange who gave birth to me,
my mother gave birth to me on the mountain.

Hey you girl, like apple blush,
they say that orange has gave birth to me.
It wasnt orange who gave birth to me,
my mother gave birth to me on the mountain.

Tempest was (Ziparinka) to me,
very fast the drinking spree put me in the sea.
Sailor hunted me in the web,
and sold me to white Catherine (Katarina).

Tempest was (Ziparinka) to me,
very fast the drinking spree put me in the sea.
Sailor hunted me in the web,
and sold me to white Catherine (Katarina).

Catherine (Katarina) was a good woman,
so she raised me in the villa.
With white bread and red wine,
with white bread and red wine.

There are maybe some mistakes, also I have no idea what does the ziparinka mean, but this is as close as you can get with the translation. I hope I helped you my friend! P.S. Open for any kind of suggestions and corrections!

I'm not 100% sure because my mother tongue is greek and I've been taught serbian and croatian since 5 years ago when I was 18 but I believe that ziparinka is a rocking cradle. So the translation should be like:
Bura mi je ziparinka bila Tempest was my cradle
Zipju špreje va morje stavjala She put me in the rocking sea

And vila means fairy, so: Pa je mene ka vilu odgojila She raised me like a fairy

Bila Katarina means white Catherine in a literal translation but the metaphoric meaning is respected Catherine (probably Saint Catherine but can also refer to a Croatian island)
I hope I helped :)

Hi :) since the origin of the song is Croatian, I think that "Bura" means the cold wind "Bora"
