We shall try to make kiddo happy again
We shall eat cream2

Your moon uncle, who lives so far away

Moon uncle shall eat in Big dish
While the kiddo shall eat in small one
Your moon uncle, who lives so far away
Will feed you(kid) Pue

(INTERLUDE)

Then in a flying saucer/chariot3
You(kid) will travel to his (moon)uncle’s home
Then in a flying saucer/chariot,
You(kid) will travel to his (moon)uncle’s home

The kid will than play the game of hide n seek with stars in sky and amuse himself
Once kid will be tired, after playing
He will return back to his home, with his tiny baby steps

Your moon uncle, who lives so far away
Will feed you(kid) Pue
prepared from Boor
Your moon uncle, who lives so far away
Will feed you(kid) Pue
prepared from Boor
Moon uncle shall eat in Big dish
While the kiddo shall eat in small one
Moon uncle shall eat in Big dish
While the kiddo shall eat in small one

Your moon uncle, who lives so far away
Will feed you(kid) Pue

  • 1. Small kid (Male) fondly called as “Munna” (मुन्ना) in poem. There is no exact word for it in English. Words like kid, kiddo can be used.
  • 2. cream is literal meaning while implied meaning is process of separating top layer from milk and using it,calling as “malai” (मलाई).
  • 3. “Udankhatola” is imaginary flying saucer/chariot often mentioned in children stories and folklore.

Kindly help with editing of footnotes in “Author’s comments” section. Thanks.

I edited just the first one in case I understood something wrong. Does that one look right now? I moved the word "kiddo" in front of the brackets and added the explanation between the brackets. Also there's no need to add a space between [] and the surrounding words - the spaces are created automatically.

Yeah 1st one is right.
The 2nd one shifted to 3rd place instead .

This should be in no-3
Udankhatola” is imaginary flying saucer/chariot often mentioned in children stories and folklore.

And for no-2-
It is - cream is literal meaning while implied meaning is process of separating top layer from milk and using it,calling as “malai” (मलाई)

You should be able to correct it yourself. For example, instead of adding "cream" between [ fn ] [ /fn ] add it before them and the explanation between them, like this: cream[ fn ]cream is literal meaning while implied meaning is process of separating top layer from milk and using it,calling as “malai” (मलाई)[ /fn ]
Then it should work correctly.
