Original lyrics

Nelle tue mani

Era dentro te, soltanto un sogno
Ma presto il sogno sarà realtà
Ora crescerà la tua passione
Tra mille sfide ti guiderà

Credi in te...

In ogni attimo tu potrai scegliere
E non dimenticare che dipende da te

Lungo la tua via, tu non temere
Se resti puro nell'anima
E anche quando avrai qualche incertezza
Sarà il coraggio a decidere

Credi in te...

In ogni attimo, tu potrai scegliere
E non dimenticare che dipende da te

Respiro libero, urlo nell'anima
Nelle tue mani, se vorrai
Il tuo destino avrai!

Respiro libero, urlo nell'anima
Nelle tue mani, se vorrai
Il tuo destino avrai!

Non arrenderti mai!
Dipenderà soltanto da te! (Soltanto da te!)
Soltanto da te!

Nelle tue mani (In Your Hands)

It was inside you, only a dream
but soon, the dream will come true
Now your passion will grow
and guide you through a thousand challenges

Believe in yourself...

In each moment, you will be able to choose
and don't forget that it depends on you

Along your way, don't be scared
If you stay pure in your soul
and even when you have some uncertainty,
it will be courage that decides

Believe in yourself...

In each moment, you will be able to choose
and don't forget that it depends on you

Breathing freely, scream in the soul
In your hands, if you want,
you will have your destiny!

Breathing freely, scream in the soul
In your hands, if you want,
you will have your destiny!

Never give up!
It depends only on you! (Only on you!)
Only on you!

I'd say that Arrendere translates better to "Surrender" than "Give up" which is Mollare, which in this case is "Non arrenderti mai!" "Never surrender yourself" hence the "ti" at the end of arrendere, "Urlo nell'anima" would be better as "Shout in the soul" Other than that good translation!

I am Italian born and i live in England. In my opinion both translations are not exactly expressing the powerful feelings that this song lets out. Still, it's hard to translate Italian correctly, at the best of times, especially at literae ( Latin expression).
