I learnt to sing this song some 35 years ago, not knowing what the words meant. When I started to learn the Spanish language some weeks ago, I suddenly remembered this song again. Your translation will help me enjoy this song again while learning the beautiful Spanish language. Muchas gracias.

NOT a good translation! Now singing this with my Spanish Choir. Eres tu is better colloquially as, “That’s you”.
