A Blasphemer (Behind Every Blasphemer There Is An Enchanted Garden)
Στίχοι τραγουδιού (Ιταλικά)
I never bent over again, not even on a flower,
I no longer blushed in stealing love,
since the moment when Winter convinced me that God
wouldn’t blush in stealing mine.
They arrested me one day because of women and wine:
they had no laws to punish a blasphemer;
I wasn’t killed by death but by two bigoted guards,
they looked for my soul by beating me up.
Because I had said that God duped the first man,
he forced him to travel, a fool’s life,
he forced him to dream in the enchanted garden,
to ignore that there are good and evil in the world.
When he saw that man was reaching out with his fingers
to steal the mystery of a forbidden apple from him,
out of fear that he would have no masters anymore,
he stopped him with death, he invented the seasons.
They looked for my soul by beating me up.
And if it was two guards that stopped my life,
the forbidden apple is right here on Earth,
and it is not God but someone who invented him for us
that forces us to dream in an enchanted garden,
that forces us to dream in an enchanted garden.

Non al denaro non all’amore né al cielo {Neither to money, nor to love, nor to heaven} is a concept album that was inspired by Edgar Lee Masters’ Spoon River Anthology.

A man unveils the lies of religion (and the sham of God’s existence, which is just there in the Bible for everyone to see), so he is persecuted by the authority. When he gets killed by his jailers, he realizes that the real sham is not God but the power that uses God as a way to subjugate people.
