القول قول الصوارم .. كي تسترَّد المظالم
حتى الأراذل ساموا .. رسول أهل العزائم

نحن الذين وطئنا .. بالخيل عرش الأعاجم

وصاغ من بعض قومٍ .. جيلاً مع الفجر قادم
فحطَّموا رأس باغٍ .. وذلَّلوا كل ظالم
حرباً على كل حربٍ .. سِلماً لكل مُسالم
سِلماً لكل مُسالم
 
القول قول الصوارم .. كي تسترَّد المظالم
حتى الأراذل ساموا .. رسول أهل العزائم

واليوم ذلَّت رؤوس .. وأذعنت كالسوائم
تبًّا وتبًّا لذُلٍّ .. أقام فينا المآتم
فاستأسد البغل لمّا .. خَبت رؤوس الضياغم
وزمجر القرد يرمي .. رسولنا بالشتائم
ما عاد في العيش خير .. إن ألجمتنا البهائم
إن ألجمتنا البهائم

Translation

We talk in the tongue of sharp swords

We talk [only] in the tongue of sharp swords...until the wrongdoings are retaliated
Even [that] the vile have insulted...the prophet of the strong-willed
 
They would not have desecrated our sanctity...if lions had them surrounded
The scum of corruption [have] attacked...so where is the covenant of the decisive?
They forgot that we are defiant...we protect, the way falcons protect
We are the ones who trampled upon...throne of the barbarians by horses
 
We talk [only] in the tongue of sharp swords...until the wrongdoings are retaliated
Even [that] the vile have insulted...the prophet of the strong-willed
 
We are the ones who built up...our forts from skulls
We drove wives of Chosreos...with lashes, as spoils [of war] are driven
Our prophet is who nurtured us...as generous builders of glory
Our prophet is the sun of righteousness...who lit the face of all worlds
 
We talk [only] in the tongue of sharp swords...until the wrongdoings are retaliated
Even [that] the vile have insulted...the prophet of the strong-willed
 
[He] enlightened the lantern-place of a night...that had become ominous by misguidance
And forged from a few...a generation who stepped by the dawn
So they crushed the head of a corrupt...and humiliated every oppressor
waging a war for every war [waged]...[and] peaceful toward every peace-monger
 
We talk [only] in the tongue of sharp swords...until the wrongdoings are retaliated
Even [that] the vile have insulted...the prophet of the strong-willed
 
And today are faces-humiliated...undergone like herded animals [and kept unfed]
Be perished and be perished, humiliation...[that] erected despairs among us
So the mule claimed of lion-ness...when the faces of lions disappeared
And the monkey roared and targeted...our prophet with insults
No blessing [would] return to life...if the animals bridled us
