Translation

Have Pity Upon Me

Have pity upon me
His procession [to Golgotha]
To be nailed onto the cross
Without fear.
 
Let us rise and press forward
Towards Jesus, who is upon the cross
He died there, the King
He died for us.1
 
Oh Jesus, art thou weary
From the burdens of our trespasses?
Never wast thou in dismay
But in love did thou abidest.
 
My soul weeps
For the wounds inflicted on thee
The four nails and the crown of thorns
His blood floweth thereon.
 
Let us rise and press forward
Towards Jesus, who is upon the cross

He died for us.
