Children who love each other

The children who love each other kiss
leaning on the gates of the night1
And the passers-by walk by and point fingers at them,
but the children who love each other
are not to be disturbed,
and it's only their shadow
that shivers in the night,
stirring the rage of the passers-by,
their rage, their scorn, their laughs and their envy.
The children who love each other are not to be disturbed,
they are elsewhere, far beyond the night,
far above the day,
basking in the light of their first love.

Nicely done!

Nitpicks:

We don't really use 'laughters' - needs to be 'laughs' or singular 'laughter'

Two Rs in stirring.

C'est tout! :-)

...oh and I'd probably use 'but' in preference to 'now'
