This song is based on the stage Moshimo Inochi ga Egaketara (もしも命が描けたら, "If we could draw life"), written by Osamu Suzuki (who is also the writer of "Tsukiouji", the novel which the song Haruka is based on).
The stage evokes the story of Geto, a suicidal boy who lost the people closed to him. He failed to kill himself and the moon gave him a strange power that gives life to the things or people which are close to death that he draw in exchange for a remaining time of his life. Then Geto met someone he became close with and fell in love with her. But she already loved someone else close to death and he decided to sacrifice himself and let to him the rest of his life.
