The Fall
Click to see the original lyrics (Persian)
When flowers don't sprout
And riders don't come around
What is [the purpose of] mountains and deserts
When the rain doesn't pour
And the winter clouds don't appear
What is [the purpose of roof] gutters
Now in the voiceless hands
Our dagger, poems and Ghazals (kind of poem)
The story of the death of affection
Bunches of good dreams
As if we are strangers to each other
Our goodness is enmity
I wish you and I could understand
He who comes, shall pass
It was the fault of these stories
It was the fault of these enemies
If they were not night
The dawn would have been with us now
I appears nobody understands me
[Nobody] understands the dead, the living, the asleep and the awake
Nobody rubs me of my solitude
The walls and doors will not understand my pain
I pity my own solitude
[for] my heart today is emptier than yesterday
My fall is within myself
Our fall is like mine
The death of our childhood days
Is reaching the night from day
Our enmities are disasters
Our fall is a disaster
The death of voice is a disaster
Is a disaster of truth
It is true, it is true
It was the fault of these stories
It was the fault of these enemies
If they were not night
The dawn would have been with us now
