Mental Clarity Is a Luxury I Can’t Afford

(Smoked out)
(Smoked out, smoked out, smoked out) (You did good, $lick)
(Loced out, loced out, loced out, loced out) (It's a smash)
(I'm so hi-hi-high)
(Smoked out, smoked out, smoked out)
(Smoked out, loced out, loced out, smoked out, loced out)
(I'm so, I'm so hi-hi-high)
(Let me take another pull-pull, of that dope)
(Smoked out, smoked out, smoked out)
(Smoked out, loced out, loced out)
(Smoked out, loced out)
(I'm so hi-hi-high)
(Let me take another pull-pull, of that dope)
(Hey, hey, hey, hey)

I'm a G-R-E-Y-B-O-Y, whole gang 59 and that's 'til we die (Gang, gang, gang)
W-E-T-T-O, cutthroat, snort an M-3-0
Mane, your gang don't want the smoke
Still pissed at my daddy, that he nutted in my momma (Fuck)
Crashing 911's, boy, I'm feelin' like Osama (Yeah)
Underground Obama, my .44 give a speech
If that's what they call high, then I'm fuckin' out of reach (North, north)
Arnold Palmer with the Wock' on the Eastern bloc (North, north)
In my purse I keep a mini Glock, hopin' that they try (North, north)
Skip off singin', "La-di-da", while their body rot (North, north)
In the hemi, how you like me now?
Reaper screamin' "Stop!"
'Hundred twenty months (What?), ten years independent (Yeah!)
Divide that by a hundred mil', the price for my appearance (Damn)
Dollar sign, no clearance (Yeah), the B now stands for business (For what?)
Fuck the industry 'cause G*59 is for the children (Yeah, what?)

Hit 95 down I-10
Heading downtown (Skrrt)
Shawty sitting shotty, got the pipe lit
Six lanes swervin', she concerned about my drivin'
Blow out the smoke
She know, the acid make my eyes spin, yuh (What the fuck?)
Took the Tchoup Exit off of Rainbow Road
Saw the smoke from the hood, but no, that ain't no ghost
So I pulled the fuck over
To watch the Range Rover glow
Laughin', as I watch it burn
But no, that ain't no joke
I got the keys now (I got the keys now)
I do, what I please now (I do, what I please now)
I can feel that breeze now (I can feel that breeze now)
But when that wind picks up again, I'll be ready
I hold my own weight, I'm heavy (Yeah)
I broke the levees, I'm responsible for the endless flood (Blanco)
Forest fires, earthquakes and an avalanche of fuckin' mud (Blanco)
Alias known as plague, I fuck shit up, then shrug and walk away (Blanco)
A trail of chaos, loss and pain
I'll bite the dust and spit out stains

(Smoked out, loced out)
(Let me take another pull-pull, of that dope)
(Smoked out, smoked out, loced out, loced out)
(I'm so hi-hi-high)
(Let me take another pull-pull, of that dope)
(I'm so hi-hi-high)
(Smoked out, smoked out, smoked out)
(Smoked out)
(I'm so hi-hi-high)
(Let me take another pull-pull of that dope)
(Loced out, loced out, loced out, loced out)
(I'm so hi-hi-high)
(Let me take another pull-pull of that dope)
(Loced out, loced out, loced out, loced out)
(I'm so hi-hi-hi-hi-hi-high)

I'm a G-R-E-Y-B-O-Y, whole gang 59 and ...: Replicating the same flow and lyrical pattern to $crim’s verse on his solo song nightmare on the northside 2, where he similarly flaunts his personas and status, spelling out his many names

M-3-0: 30mg Perc

Crashing 911's: 9/11 with Porsche 911s

Underground Obama, my .44 give a speech: Barack Obama was the 44th president

Arnold Palmer: The Arnold Palmer is a popular beverage that combines equal parts iced tea and lemonade. Named after the famous American golfer Arnold Palmer, who frequently enjoyed this refreshing mix, the drink has become a staple in many cafes and restaurants. Its unique blend of the boldness of tea and the tangy sweetness of lemonade makes it a favorite for many. Today, the Arnold Palmer is widely recognized and enjoyed by people of all ages.

Wock': Lean/Purple Drank

I-10: I-10 is an interstate highway that goes through New Orleans as well as all of southern USA.

Rainbow Road: Rainbow Road is a popular level featured in the Mario Kart series of games. Serving as the final course of the special cup in all games, and typically presented as a rainbow-colored racetrack floating in space, Rainbow Road is widely considered to be one of the most iconic and recognizable staples of the Super Mario franchise.

Here Ruby describes taking the “Tchoup Exit“ or Tchoupitoulas Exit off of the Pontchartrain Expressway while on acid, metaphorically referring to the highway as “Rainbow Road” due to the colorful hallucinations from the drugs in his system.

In the hemi: Hemi is used for high-performance car engines

'Hundred twenty months (What?), ten years ...: Referencing the fact that it has been ten years since the Boy$ initially released their first music in the KILL YOURSELF Part I: The $uicide Saga EP, headlined by their very first official song together, Kill Yourself. One hundred and twenty months adds up to ten years, and all this time the Boy$ have remained independent from any Record Label, and have even founded their own under G*59 Record$.

Dollar sign, no clearance (Yeah), the B now stands...: Outside of the aforementioned B standing for Business, together, $B obviously stands for $uicideboy$. Additionally, “no clearance” refers to the many issues the Boy$ have had in the past getting sample clearances for their songs, as their production of music contains frequent sampling. One primary example of this would be on the track Antarctica, which was contested by the original artist Deadmau5, leading to the song not existing officially on streaming platforms for 6 years after release.

Fuck the industry 'cause G*59 is for the ...: A reference to Ol' Dirty Bastard of Wu-Tang Clan’s infamous quote from his interruption of the 1998 Grammy Awards upon not winning Song of the Year, ostensibly dissing the music industry through his criticism of one of its staple events:

Wu-Tang is for the children

I got the keys now (I got the keys now): Ruby references his chorus from the track “#1 Stunna” off their 2015 project “Gray/Grey” where he sings:

Let me get the keys to the Rover truck

I broke the levees, I'm responsible for the ...: Growing up in New Orleans, the Boy$ childhood was heavily influenced by Hurricane Katrina, and the subsequent breaking of the levees, which has been discussed previously in tracks such as Planting the Roots Only to Fall Out the Tree

This attitude of claiming responsibility for apocalyptic and biblical destruction has also been frequented on tracks such as Exodus, Lamar Avenue, and all of the KILL YOUR$ELF Part XI: The Kingdom Come $aga, particularly when Ruby is embracing the Yung Plague persona.

Alias known as plague: Yung Plague, one of Ruby da Cherry’s main “alter egos” it appears in champion of death, South side suicide, ultimate suicide and a few more.

I'll bite the dust and spit out stains: It sounds like an idiom, but it actually refers to spitting out the residue that forms in the throat when cocaine is snorted.

(Smoked out) (Smoked out, smoked out, smoked out): Lil Buck’s famous line, used by Three Six Mafia in several songs but is most known for their iconic track “Smoked Out Loced Out” It’s unclear though, whether the Boy$ sampled this from as in terms, of the way, the vocal sample sounds like, it could be Koopsta Knicca’s “Purple Thang” or from the “remixed” “Smoked Out Loced Out” version, from the Prophet Posse (which is a sub-group of Three Six Mafia)

(You did good, $lick): Budd Dwyer’s producer tag. Budd Dwyer is one of Scrim’s personas, specifically the one he uses as a producer.

(It's a smash): Sam Bo Bachrack’s producter tag. Sam is currently the boys' mixer and co-producer.

(Let me take another pull-pull, of that dope): Vocal sample by Al Kapone from his track “Smoke One”

I’m so high, so high, let me take another pull-pull, of that dope
