I sell a pair of black eyes

I sell a pair of black eyes,
Who wants to buy them from me?
I sell them for being bewitching
Because badly they paid me. (repeats)

Refrain
I would want more of you, I love you more
And I spend all my nights
Sighing for your love. (repeats)

Everytime I feel in sorrow
I go to the near* shore
To ask the breaking* waves
If they've seen my love go by. (repeats)

(refrain)

The flowers in my garden
With the sun become faded
And the eyes of my sweetheart
Cry for the lover they adore.

Estimada Rosa,
La vida está llena de casualidades.
Un solo punto:
Porque me han pagado mal > Because badly they (pay) PAID me

There is another stanza that goes:

"Ojos negros traicioneros / Treacherous black eyes
Por qué me mirais así / Why you look like that at me?
Tan alegres para otros / So happy you are for others
Y tan tristes para mi / And so sad you are for me".

I would like to add it to the original, but I don't know how to brake in.
I am sure Lucho Gatica didn't omit it.

Sí Rosa, he leído tus comentarios sobre 'Romance de la otra'.
Hay más que una versión de 'Yo vendo unos ojos negros'.
Otras estrofas dicen:
.
Los ojos de mi morena
tan negros como el carbón,
me tienen como en cadena
atado mi corazón.
.
A veces dan esperanza,
a veces me hacen dudar,
a veces me dan confianza
y no sé cómo acertar.
.
Por eso los ojos negros
los quiero pronto vender,
a ver si por los senderos
aprenden lo que es querer.

That's right. I remember a couple of them.
I lived in Chile several years. "We sang and danced .... "
