Nuntempe oni vidas la birdojn flugantajn en la ĉielo,
oni vidas la bestojn kuŝantajn sur nia nobla tero .
la dolĉajn kaj mildajn aromojn de diversaj floroj ni flaras.
Ho! Kia granda ĝojo! la arbaro renaskiĝas.
La rivero kun sia klara akvo serene fluas.
al iama rivero eĉ ne similas,
tute ruĝigita per la malamika sango.
La plorindajn eĥojn mi ankoraŭ aŭdas
Por miaj karuloj, por la estonteco,
mi protektos vin, arbaro.

Now we see the birds flying in the sky,
we see the animals lying on our noble earth.
We smell the sweet and mild aroma of diverse flowers.
Oh! Such a great joy! the tree is reborn.
The river, with its clear water, flows serenely.
It doesn't appear like that old river,
all reddened by the enemy's blood.
I can still hear the crying echoes
