No one in my Belgrade smiles anymore.
In this part of the world there's no spring and that bothers me.
In this crazy time staying here is the real wonder.
Bitter is the taste in mouth and there is no strength in my fingers
something cuts me in my chest for i don't know what's wrong with people.
Why did they destroy our dreams, stomped on our every hope,
when no one smiles in my Belgrade anymore.

How to remain honorable in the world of swindlers, my mouth foams because of powerlessness to eliminate stupidity, swoops on the sickness, If my child could breathe easier, this can't be good,
There's less and less god in us, evil more and more
In this part of the world, in this land, in my city
i'm slowly losing the hope in my Belgrade.
For the spring does not land on my shoulder anymore,
we searched for something greater, and lost all from our bags,
love and kindness, humanity, respect,
faith and wisdom it's alarming state,
long time ago many have found the exit across,
they won't look spiritually-moral fall, return smile to my city.
