Entschuldigung, ich wage mich nur ungern an Übersetzungen ins Englische, aber das kann ich nicht stehenlassen; die Übersetzung strotzt von Fehlern. Du bist vielleicht "fluent in english", aber dann hapert es mit dem Verständnis des französischen Textes gewaltig.
Wer singt das Chanson? Ein Mann! Über wen singt er ? Eine Frau!--> z.B. "je sais quand elle a froid"
Also: Welche Personalpronomen muss man verwenden? her statt his oder its
défense <-> disguise
déplaît <-> displeases
défaillence <-> weakness
"autour d'elle et moi le silence se fait" <-> (only that, and my silence is all ???) auf deutsch: "um sie und mich herum wird es still"
