Δι' ευχών

The phrase “Δι' ευχών” can be translated literally as “through prayers and wishes” or “by means of prayers.” This is an expression from ancient Greek and means “by prayer.” It is mostly used in a religious or spiritual context to mean that something is accomplished or someone is remembered through prayer. "Δι' ευχών των αγίων ημών," is a part of the Greek Orthodox liturgy. These words begin the blessing pronounced by the priest at the end of the service as the congregation prepares to leave the church and return to the outside world.
