Please be aware that one star is usually given to flag translations that were done using GoogleTranslate - which seems not to be the case here. I'm not a Russian speaker but the English text makes sense to me - of course this translation has mistakes but it's not terrible. Maybe Autumnal Rain is not a fluent English speaker.
I'd suggest you to give suggestions of improvements, but it seems that user has been inactive for almost 3 years now. I'd also suggest you to add a translation of your own, but this song already has many RU->EN translations attached to it.

Anyway, Anatoli... If the translation is rated with one star, it means that either this is an obvious machine translation or "It would be much better if this had been a machine translation"
Remember that our voting system is intended to primarily check grammar.

The problem is that the stars are supposed to give a sense of the quality of the translation. Read this section of the Frequently Asked Questions. Ratings have meanings about the quality of the translation, and one star clearly misrepresents this one.
By saying "this translation is equivalent to a machine translation or even worse and should not even be on the site", you're not only misrepresenting the truth and misleading people who come in, but you're strongly discouraging the translator.
Try to be more friendly, accepting and tolerant. Try to read and follow the rules.

I am glad to discourage the "google-translators" ;) :lol:
If the translation is really bad, it is almost always a GT. If it is not but still too bad, it deserves at least 2 stars (with a neccessary explanation "Why 2 stars only?" and comments on at least the biggest mistakes), as a gratitude for attempt.
