Hi!
I'm french ( then, sorry for an english which could be wrong) and i don't entirely agree with your translation ^^
The expression " Le soleil passe son bras par la fenêtre" is not weird, it's a metaphor to appoint sunrays :)
And "dans mon entourage" should mean "among the people I know" in true french but the author should mean " near to me"
Moreover, "sympathique" as "invisible" just exists for "encre sympathique", otherwise it always mean "nice" ( I think she is depressed so she can't be nice)
But, above all, you're right, this french is pretty broken!
@Kris, Wow thanx so much for helping me out! Truth is I only came across this site yesterday and just thought I'd try to post my request for some of my fave French songs on iPod and wow the translation is done today!
@kuroi_neko, I found the lyrics in French in another site so I have no ideas how weird they sound but feel free to edit them in the left box LOL.

One correction I would offer is to your translation in the refrain, "I only want to forget it". Since the French lyrics do not include an l' in front of the word "oublier", nor do I hear her sing "l'oublier", the word "it" should be omitted. I submit that the correct translation for that line should be, "I only want to forget" .
