I think he's damning her because he's heartbroken. She doesn't want to be with him or she broke his heart for some unknown reason. His friends have relationships/are married (houses), yet his house is still incomplete without a roof...
I like the sentence: radjaj mi djecu kao kolacice :P
Tell me, MayGoLoco, I remember in the late 90s, when people in Serbia were protesting against Slobodan Milosevic, they said on the news that there were rock bands in the public square(s) playing songs. What rock bands were there at that time? I would like to listen to a few of the songs performed there.
Thanks, I'll check them right away. I can't get "Ooo, ooo... ako ima Boga" out of my head now.
Can you tell me what the name of the band stands for?
I know Bijelo = white (Belgrade/Beograd = White City) and google translate says dugme = button. White Button? What is that? I'm thinking... the red button is in urban mythology the button that presidents of the nucler powers can push to launch nuclear missiles, and I guess the white button launches peace. Am I right here or am I just imagining things? Google translate also says the two words together mean Ludacris, but I have no idea what ludacris means. Some "cool" way of saying "ludicrous"?
Hahah well I must say I've been listening to this song the whole day because of YOU! Bad Calusarul!!!
There's a whole story about how they became Bijelo Dugme on Wikipedia. About different band formations/members/band names etc. Then they finally chose the name Bijelo Dugme (= white button) after a song they were already known for called Kad bi bio bijelo dugme.
I've never heard of bijelo dugme meaning ludacris though...never trust google translate ;)
Doesn't the letter B stand for Boga (God)? If so, I'd say "under the letter G is my name".
