Conceal it

What't wrong? Why have you disappeared?
For so long your heart has been in a loss
Why do you fear to talk?
There are confusion and many stories showing in your eyes
 
(You are) so different from whom you used to be;
(You are) locking up your heart behind shut doors;
(You) Loved, and (then) departed many a place,
that is still living in you
With every day your sensation degrades.
You step, and your step stumbles.
They frustrate you a lot that you lose passion to life.
Where is the cure for that?
 
Every day you bid farewell to a dream,
Worries besiege you,
But that's all can not be compared with the (pain of) expatriation.
The wound is huge.
You pay no attention to anything
"-Hi"... "-Hi". "-Bye"... "-Bye".
"Scarcely talking" became a feature of you
with no explanation.
 
Conceal it, My heart. (As much as you can) conceal it
Our sorrow (will remain) uncovered to others (no matter what)
It's normal, quite normal: Everybody in this life
loves anything must part from it.
 
All those is the photo are now absent:
Your homeland, your kin, and your friend.
Many bid farewell and left
With no reason
In your eyes I can see a look of longing
Many are those, to whom you long
Years keep on moving forward1;
People are passengers.
 
With every tick of the clock
memories die inside us.
We had raised our hopes too high
that we forgot how to live.
It was written for us to take this path
parting, from time to time, from a thing (of what we love).
Life was being slowly stolen
Life led us for nothing.

  • 1. Here he describes life as a "train" that moves in a certain way on certain rails with a certain speed no matter what. This metaphor is very common in Arabic songs and in Hamza's songs (Check this song)
