گر زلف پریشانت

گر زلف پریشانت در دست صبا افتد
هر جا که دلی باشد در دام بلا افتد
 
ما کشتی صبرِ خود در بحر غم افکندیم
تا آخر از این طوفان هر تخته کجا افتد
 
گر زلف پریشانت در دست صبا افتد
هر جا که دلی باشد در دام بلا افتد
 
آخر چه زیان افتد سلطان ممالک را
کو را نظری روزی بر حال گدا افتد؟

If your tousled hair

If your tousled hair join with the morning breeze (wind)
where ever there is a heart, falls in the trap of love
 
We launched our patience vessel into ocean of sorrows
-as result of this hurricane (your love) where would the pieces end up

What harm could come to the ruler of the nations (God)
if He someday notice feelings (grant the request) of a beggar?
