Come Firecracker Magalenha, bring the firewood to the oven, come do handywork.
Today is a day of sun, happiness of the idiot , it's to enjoy the summer
Come Firecracker Maglenha , bring the password to the oven, your your your heart
Today is a day of sun, happiness of xodó ( this is someone's pride, love in an object/ person they care about) , My task of the summer
""you you you you.... ""
O calangulango, from the little black girl's calango ( this is a type of lizard)
I am singing this little movement (mudinha is like a little sprout of a plant) for the lady to remember
Of that time that she used to live over in roça ( na roça= in cultivation land, fields) with a daughter in the belly and another daughter to raise.

The password or sign is her heart. If you give your heart, you can open up the oven and get what's inside. I don't think I can say what that is on a tame website like this, but obviously it's pretty hot.

Senha means password
Lenha means firewood
Bring firewood for the stove

Actually it is "modinha". The "modinha" was a brief, romantic musical composition typical of the Brazil (especially Rio) of the end of 1800.
Source: I am reading now the romance: "Triste fim de Policarpo Quaresma" by Lima Barreto. The setting is precisely Rio de Janeiro at the end of 1800. There are a lot of references to modinha's.
