Air
One night, while hungover,
when I tried to wake up,
I noticed on my belly-button
that I began to deflate,
that my body wrinkled
like tracing paper
and, how funny, I became
part of the gaseous state.
And after the metamorphosis,
I felt much better.
I was now a dark grey air
with lots of pollution.
You could tell, in any case,
that I was city air
'cause, even if it's not the healthiest,
human beings prefer it.
Air... for a moment, I dreamed I was
an air... oxygen, nitrogen and argon,
with neither defined form, ah-ah, nor colour.
I was flying air.
As I'm quite conscious
even in this situation,
I decided to be consistent
with my new dimension
and I tried to be inhaled
by the one who sleeps by my side.
Without getting into details,
I know how to do better things.
As I was not satisfied
by the sexual experience,
my vapours inflated
and I turned into a hurricane.
I turned three or four times
and I got tired by number five.
This room is too small
for the things I dream of.
Air... for a moment, I dreamed I was
an air... oxygen, nitrogen and argon,
with neither defined form, ah-ah, nor colour.
I was flying air.
And I'm sorry about my girlfriend
and the glass I ruined.
I escaped through the window
and I plummeted.
But I was unlucky
and when I was about to soar,
I became human again,
don't miss the funeral.
