Doomsday Blue lyrics
- Avada Kedavra:
the spell ‘Avada Kedavra’ has been derived from a Middle Eastern language Aramaic, “Abhadda Kedhabra”. This means ‘disappear like this word’. It was used by ancient wizards to vanish illness // in popular language it is the killing curse, however 'Avada' in Latin means death and 'Kedavra' in Greek means to create. It loosely translates to “I create death as I speak” // source: https://punkndisorderly.medium.com/is-avada-kedavra-a-real-curse
- Hoodoo:
(in popular culture) bad luck, or a person or thing that brings bad luck // source: https://www.dictionary.com/browse/hoodoo
- Cuckoo:
in slang = a crazy, silly, simple or foolish person // source: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cuckoo

On it!
Isn't the famous spell "avada kedavra" coming from Aramaic?
Avad (in Hebrew and presumably in Aramaic) — died, got lost.
Ke-davra — as [I] speak, from the root "d-v/b-r" (as in "davar" — word). Ke- — as, like.
Taking into account that Aramaic and Hebrew have been always viewed as "misterious" (languages of Talmud, Kabbalah, Bible after all), I can believe that this conjugation of two words became famous as a spell and even made it to "Harry Potter".🪄
