I wanted to add the lyrics to Dark Forest's The Undying Flame, but I found two conflicting lyrics for it on the interwebs:
#1 https://www.musixmatch.com/es/letras/Dark-Forest/The-Undying-Flame
Here in the firelight′s ruddy glow
As night surrounds
I wait for morning's light to showI will stay strong (I will stay strong)
I will be pure
Though longing tears
My heart asunder, plain and fairSnowing river, wash my tears away
Mighty mountain, be my strength this day
Though the vision of the life I yearned
Told me far away, I will returnI hearken to my inner voice
Now crystal clear
I fight against myself, oh noI′ll see her face
I'll hear her voice
Calling my name
As clear as a summit, full of rainSnowing river, wash my tears away
Mighty mountain, be my strength this day
Though the vision of the life I yearned
Told me far away, I will returnNo matter how
Our story ends
I'll guard the flame
To burn forever, in our nameSnowing river, wash my tears away
Mighty mountain, be my strength this day
Though the vision of the life I yearned
Told me far away, I will return

Here in the firelight's ruddy glow
As night surrounds
I wait for morning's light to showI will stay strong, I will be pure
Though laughing tears my heart asunder, lady fairFlowing river wash my fears away
Mighty mountain be my strength this day
Though the vision of the life I yearned
Took me far away, I will returnI hearken to my inner voice
Now crystal clear
I fight against myself but knowI'll see her face, I'll hear her voice
Calling my name, as clear as the sunlit fall of rainFlowing river wash my fears away
Mighty mountain be my strength this day
Though the vision of the life I yearned
Took me far away, I will returnNo matter how our story ends
I'll guard the flame, to burn forever in our nameFlowing river wash my fears away
Mighty mountain be my strength this day
Though the vision of the life I yearned
Took me far away, I will return
Listening to the song, I found for myself, that
Though longing tears
My heart asunder, plain and fair
from the first variant makes more sense than
Though laughing tears my heart asunder, lady fair
But then again, I rather hear "lady fair" in the end, than "plain and fair".
On the other hand,
Flowing river
in the second version makes more sense to me than
Snowing river
in the first version to me.
I also find
Calling my name, as clear as the sunlit fall of rain
more plausible than
Calling my name
As clear as a summit, full of rain
Maybe a native speaker can listen to the song and give me some input so that I can submit the correct lyrics.
I, personally, tend towards version #2 to be the most correct one.
