Translation
My Whole Heart Is Yours
We had been loving each other, come hell or high water
Then it came and we didn't know what to do
You didn't make a good dying swan1
I failed as a dark horseman2
Instead of sticking together like paper and glue, we're suddenly drifting apart like a glacier and a boulder
We have so much happiness on our conscience
I need your night scent every morning
And no false eyelashes on my pillow
[Refrain:]
My whole heart is yours;3 you're my rhyme with pain
We'll be giants; the world is becoming too small for us
What kind of people are those who have relationships?
Do they see themselves as states?
They don't seduce each other; they kidnap each other at the most
They end up like diplomats4
I cannot be where you are not3
I don't even want to try out something else
We're like everybody else because we'd like to go home
It's almost never too late to understand that
[Refrain]

One remark about a footnote:
> "They end up like diplomats": Diplomats have a higher risk of being kidnapped.
I don't think that's the meaning here. Diplomats are people whose very job it is to keep a professional distance, never letting their emotions show, so the opposite of what lovers should be.

Excellent.
Interesting interpretation but a bit far fetched IMO.
"Then it came" => "Then he came along"
Don't know if I missed this before of if it's from a later edit.
You're welcome, Jimmy! I agree it's an awesome song. :)
