I know that I will love you

I know that I will love you
for all my life, I will love you.
In every single farewell, I will love you
Desperately, I know that I will love you.

And every single line will serve to tell you
that I know that I will love you
for all my life.
I know that I will cry

I will cry for every single time you leave me1
But, each time you return shall erase
what your absence has caused me.

I know that I will suffer
the eternal misadventure which living is
the long wait to live beside you
for all my life.

  • 1. It may also be understood as: I will cry when you leave me. But the singer wanted to emphasize that he will cry each single time she leaves him, not only cry when she goes away once.

good translation (: my suggestions are merely to make it flow better in English:

verse 1, line 3: In every single farewell/in each and every farewell

verse 2, line 1: and every single line will serve to tell you

verse 3, line 1: for every single time

Thank you :) I was going to write 'every', but I thought 'each' emphasized more than 'every' :D

No problem (:
I think in general if the following word is 'single' I'd stick to using 'every', I don't know why but 'each single' just sounds really odd...
If you want to be more emphatic you could use 'each and every'
