Translation

Lamentation- Migration (foreign lands)

Heavy bracelets the sorrows
you didn't say that you love me.
I have a grievance mother, my mouth
eventhough my body has died.

I don't want, my light, a crowd(people, a world)
I have mint on my lips.
I have a grievance bring me,ask me
my paper plane of oblivion.

I'm sending you a letter with
the moon's blade.
Take it and strike me my mother, my madness
and if your soul is weeping, laugh for me.

Tall mountains and you views of the stars.
Faint rivers, fir trees, laurels, myrtles.

My heart, oh my fire, whoever sees
tell her to come to me, not to be late.
My foreign land, my love-lust, light and dawn
before the whole earth cracks from my sorrow.

Moist ravines, and you dragon caves,
eagle feathers and of the winds black nests.

My heart, oh my fire, whoever sees
tell her to come to me, not to be late.
My foreign land, my love-lust, light and dawn
before the whole earth cracks from my sorrow.

Nightingale you, misleading ash that you burn
with what wine do his eyes get drunk, tell.

Oh thank you very much. I guess we call that word in portuguese as saudade. :)

Hi, in German it's "Heimweh" :-)

Thank you much. I still need a Turkish translate of the lyrics to get the feeling complately but now i got more than half of it at least.

There's "tell HER to come to me" on one side and "with what wine do HIS eyes get drunk" on the other. It didn't seem to me that a man and a woman are supposed to sing it about each other, so could someone competent enough in Greek grammatical gender reveal who in fact sings this about whom?

Okay, I've looked into it, and της really is her, while του really is his. Then I just don't get the song's concept.
