It's difficult to capture the wordplay used here, so I opted for a more literal translation.
It is alleged that the original poem was written by Al-Asmaʿi to challenge the Abassid caliph Al-Mansur, who had a reputation of perfectly remembering any poem after listening to it once. Hence this poem, which uses repetition and onomatopoeia to make it difficult to memorize.
However, several critics have expressed serious doubts about attributing it to Al-Asmaʿi due to the lack of reputable sources.
I used this Facebook post to understand some of the words and figures of speech that I'm not familiar with: https://www.facebook.com/Aimaneladwy/photos/a.1398903917089919/179372435...
Even in that post, some terms are only guesses because there are a number of made-up words and ones with multiple ambiguous meanings.

Thanks for your kind words and for adding the original lyrics and request. Such a beautiful and challenging song!
I was listening to this version and wondered if someone added it to LT already, and that's how I found it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FcUXd2Dhio
