I'd personally say this could be improved a lot by changing the sentence structure/word order to make it more natural. Right now it's clinging to the German structure very strongly, which doesn't sound very good in English.
'get's' in part 3 should be 'gets'.
'now my hand will slip' isn't really a saying in English, but I don't really know how to give the meaning on any better..
You're right, this could be improved a lot, I made that translation quite a while ago when I was completely new here, and didn't change much after creating it.
It wasn't exactly one of my priorities either, I have to admit, since there's already a much better translation available on this site
