This song was written in 1983 calling for the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) to withdraw from Lebanon during the Lebanon War, which started in 1982, causing a public roar in Israel. Later on, this song was associated with the release of soldiers and citizens which were and are still kept prisoners by Palestinian terrorists.
