Well, I know that my translation's title is a little odd x)
"plain" have got several translation. It can mean "plaine" or "ordinaire", "quelconque", "banal". If I translate verbatim, I will get something like "sur la plaine" but I found that it wasn't right. I tried to put the word "plain" in the right context. The song talked about love and that he loves himself better than the others and that he couldn't complain. So I have considered that "sur une plaine" was not a very good translation. Why can't he complain? Because he is "ordinaire" and not because he is "sur une plaine". So I have translated "on a plain" by "ordinaire". But it's my vision about that. If you have an other translation or vision, tell me! :)

Nop, I'm not pointing out any error or something (I'm not even fluent in French, one day maybe hehe), the thing is I've translated this song to two languages (as you can see) and I was wondering if such adaptation (and the reason for it) would be applicable to those languages :) I made some research on this song and I've decided to translate both literally, I was really curious about the "ordinaire" hehe :) Check this, it was the best discussion about the song and its meaning that I've found: https://www.englishforums.com/English/OnAPlain/kzvn/post.htm
