paroles de Walking In A Forest

From the earth's daily fury
A place where I am benumbed
By brilliant lights and scatter
I cross the natural threshold
To the forest of shadows and depth
To regain unity with myself
Apart from the din of men
At one with nature's earth
Thoughts flow as water
In uninterrupted rivlets
Profound and distant vistas
The song of birds releaving
The wind in the trees healing
Simplest joys in the life
That progresses on its way
I hear the flowing of water
It carries away cares bit by bit
All that is truly important...is
All that is trivial falls away
I am apart from myself
Soaring in distant memories
How the years have passed on
Pastels of character's robes
Clad in elation, and in grief
The Way, always in benevolence
Only one shadow follows me
Only one purpose before me
The walk is long
And the time is short
Just treads of feet remain
But only briefly
Then returning brilliance
I am born again
