I enjoy many forms of self-expression: music, dance, language, painting, and writing. I also enjoy swimming, hiking and kayaking.

I believe that language and music are very powerful. Listening to music in a foreign language can still have a subconscious impact, even when the listener does not understand the words. I find the translation of songs to be very important, so that the listener can understand what he is absorbing, and either appreciate the song more or choose to no longer listen to it. Language and music can heal, uplift, and just plain entertain, but if used wrongly, it can be harmful. I choose to listen to music that touches me in a positive way and check the translations of songs before I listen to them, this way, the music I listen to lifts me up. I hope my translations, as well as the other translations on this site, help others to do this as well.
