We composed many songs in our hearts,

I liked her too, until she began to sing patriotic, religious and xenophobe (anti-American) songs, Holy Mother Russia and so on... I much prefer the traditional Russian songs!

Sure, our national anthem ("La Marseillaise") might sound somehow like belonging to the same narrow and chauvinistic register... but it was written in 1792, just after the Revolution, in times of war and foreign invasions. But as far as I know, nowadays nobody is trying to invade Russia (while Russia is quietly invading its neighbours). So this unpleasently remembers me the Nazi German songs in the 1930's, the difference being that Bichevskaya adds a very strong accent on religion ("опиум людей"). Remember the Nazi slogan : Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer ! (Один народ, одна империя, один вождь !) "Марш марш марш, Русский марш, собирает на марш !" "Мы – Русские, мы – Русские, мы – Русские!" Да, ну и что?

What happened to Alesha Popovich? Where do you get those songs? What kind of victory? What kind of slaves. Why is it always about shedding the blood. The music is very familiar. We used to sing the same melody with different words in the army, while marching under the drumbeat to the dining room. "Прощай любимый край, страна зовет в поход, смотри не забывай, наш боевой курсантский взвод". 1965-68 and still remember. Old music with new patriotic and religious rubbish!

I have a version about slavery: the English word "slave" comes from the word "Slav", apparently she talking about this slavery.

Что-то текст не тот. И исполнение странное. Бродский, помнится, предлагал сделать "Прощание славянки" гимном России. Думаю, примерно в этом варианте:

Грех такой текст переделывать и всяких Добрыней под развесистыми хоругвями туда запихивать.

Собственно, Бечевская представила свое видение всеми любимого марша. Слова на видео, которое Вы представили, написаны в 2016 году, а альбом "Русская голгофа" вышел в 1998 году. Так что, кто кого переделывал это еще вопрос.
Насчет Добрыни: по границе древней Руси стояли заставы с воинскими гарнизонами во главе с воеводами для защиты от набегов степников. Так вот, былинный богатырь Добрыня был одним из этих воевод. Так что его упоминание в русском военном марше вполне уместно, а ваше "всяких", по-моему, нет.
С хоругвиями та же история.

Евгений, не обижайтесь. Вы меня поймали, я действительно видео не смотрел-не слушал, взял первое попавшееся ("с ятями"), даже не прочитав комментарий. Халтура.
И я возражаю не против Добрынь и хоругвей в принципе (ключевое слово "развесистое"), а против переделывания всеми кому не лень канонического текста (если он есть) с сохранением мелодии и названия. Мне это кажется просто неприличным применительно к такого рода песням.
Вы ответите, что канонического текста нет. Вполне возможно. Но тогда не стоит усугублять неразбериху.

Текст Бичевской (по-моему, она не "все кому не лень") также не претендует на канонизацию. Однако, думаю, что она, как россиянка, тут в своем праве.

К 1990-м гг. относится вариант текста, написанный актёром Иркутского городского театра народной драмы Андреем Мингалёвым; в этой версии марш входит в репертуар таких певиц, как Татьяна Петрова (первая исполнительница марша с этим текстом), Жанна Бичевская и другие:

Так что Бическая тут вообще не при делах. Остаюсь при своем мнении: в художественном отношении (а значит, и в патриотическом) этот текст ужасен.
