Basically, in this song, Gims is saying that the real evil in this world isn't the wickedness of the people in society who exploit everyone else. It's those who are exploited being silent to the reality of their being manipulated.

Did you know that this intellectually challenged shithole thinks charity is what's in it for him, demonstrates zero support to arts - again, except as getting his portrait from a charity auction? He is an epitome of tastelessness, crassness, greediness, narcissistic personality that wishes he could crash is opponents - 60% of this country. The WORST is the people who don't participate.

"... pourquoi la mer est-elle salée" is actually "why is the sea salty" , like the other translator correctly stated.
C'est pas pourquoi la mer est "sale."
That would explain why Gims says "les poissons ont trop pleuré", which means that the tears (salty) of the fish is what made the sea salty.
