Fernando (Svenska)

Why are you suffering, Fernando?
Why is there such a sad sound coming from your guitar,
What happened?
Are you in love, Fernando?
She has left you with your strong, strong feelings -
Is that so?
Anyone who has loved and last,
Knows that these things happen from time to time,

Sorrow can be hard to deal with,
But you have to learn how to deal with it when betrayed by friends.
I have also lost my beloved,
How can you think you're the only one going through this?
Are there any happy songs left that you can play?
Play, play them for me!

May love live a long, long time,
For our best friend Fernando.
Fill your glass and raise it in a celebratory toast,
To love, Fernando!
Play, play the melody and sing a happy song,
May love live a long, long time,
To love, Fernando!

Let's toast to the others,
Who found eternal love and the faith within every song,
Or should we toast to each other?
Will you drink to the happiness I used to have?
It's true, the beautiful fairytales never, ever last.

Thanks for the translation!

I had translated "har hon lämnat dej din stora, stora kärlek" to
"has she left you, your big, big love" - why doesn't it mean that?

The "suffering" in the first line imo sound quite strange in that context - I had made it to "why are you sad".

Your translations seems quite free in parts.
"vad är det som står på?" I had understood as "what's the matter?"

"loved and last" - probably a typo, it must be "lost".

There are lots of lines here that I've translated different but I don't know if I understood them wrong or if it's due to your translation being not very literal.

It ain't a bad thing so you don't need to fix it, it's just makes it not that helpful for a learner of the source language.
But well, some parts seem so less literal (for example the second line) that I'd recommend to at least add something like "not a literal translation" into the author's comment.

"Anyone who has loved and last" => "... and lost"
