"Na sombra di oju maguadu"
"odju maguadu" is usually translated or interpreted somewhat literally as "hurt (or wounded) eyes". However, the true meaning is languid, voluptuous and sensual eyes.
Anyone can get hurt eyes (with a wound), but not everybody that have "odju maguadu" (or the São Vicente variant: "oie maguode").

This morna is sung (and translated) as if speaking of a scented miss (girl). However the original poem refers to a Miss (beauty contest winner) of a group called "Perfumado" (literaly "scented"). According Moacyr Rodrigues and Isabel Lobo ("Morna in traditional literature"), it's known the name of the girl to whom he dedicated this morna by B.leza: Alice Nhô of Crujinha.

I agree with Berliner25 about the last thee lines.

Translation
Miss Perfumadu
Let me die dreaming
Under the vigil of sad eyes
Of a kind young lady
With a sweet-scented body
Let me die in this way, my flower
Under the shade of your gentle little eyes
Let me die dreaming
Like a dove into her nest
If the dove is happy in her nest
So am I, under the look
And the caresses from
This sweet-scented miss

The other English translation is lovely, but incomplete, since the original lyrics were not comprehensible, unfortunatelly
