Translation
I Know You Will Come to Me Tonight
I know you will come to me tonight,
though we only met briefly yesterday.
I won't believe a word you say,
if the stars tell me otherwise.
And then everything will be as it was,
before you know it, you'll know.
And this thing because of the bar
between us was left in peace.
And later, when the moon has wandered a long way,
then we'll walk about the dream that we love, you and I.
I know you will come to me tonight,
though we only met briefly yesterday.
I won't believe a word you say,
if the stars tell me otherwise.
And later, when the moon has wandered a long way,
then we'll walk about the dream we love, you and I.
I know you will come to me tonight,
though we only met briefly yesterday.
I won't believe a word you say,
if the stars tell me otherwise.

"Og þetta eina sem útaf bar / okkar á milli í friði leyst."
As charto has said here above, this line has nothing to do with a bar.
"Að bera út af" means something like "to go wrong" - "And that one thing that went wrong (between us) / will be solved peacefully between us"
This following line:
"Og þá mun allt verða eins og var / sko áður en þú veist, þú veist."
stays entirely within the present tense:
"And then everything will be like it was (/used to be) / before you-know-what, you know?"
The singer is too embarrassed about that thing that happened to address it directly, so he's speaking around it with sentences such as "that one thing that went wrong" and "you-know-what".

I am not a native speaker of Icelandic, and your translation is mostly right, but I can spot some issues:
- in the second line: you translated kveðjan as "met" but it means something like "the greeting", so the line would be word by word "although the greeting was short yesterday"
- in the fourth line: you miss two things, it's "stars" not "the stars" and you miss "tvær". Your translation would be somthing like "ef annað segja mér stjörnurnar" in Icelandic. The translation is rather "(even) if two stars tell something different".
- in the seventh and eighth line: these lines are tricky and I am not really sure how to translate them properly, but they have nothing to do with a bar. "Because of the bar" would be "út af barnum". A rather literal translation of the two lines is "and the one thing, that out bore us between resolves in peace". I reckon it means something as "and the one thing that separated us is resolved peacefully".
- tenth line: "tölum við" is the 1st person plural form of að tala and simply means "we talk", so the line would be "then we talk about the dream we love, you and I".
