Do you know the history of great beautiful Canada

This borrowed country, which was founded three times

We have been made to believe a bilingual country, equal rights

So that francophones do not rise up

They have avoided renaming the country

To name "Borealia" their new colony

They gave us the gift of a very strange freedom

Hoping to see the children of Cartier go out

Molson and McGill were well engaged

In the castle clique they had strings to pull

The unifying fathers dreamed that we sabotaged ourselves

But after returning from exile from the despotic king

French was saved by an ex-patriot

Between two lonelinesses, far enough from the fighting

A new capital between two Canadas

After the ashes of Montreal we choose the city of Ottawa

Are we but a prefix to this federation?
