The “we” is confusing, but I picture the speaker in the first stanza standing in front of his place, or house listening and the rest to he the song of the carretero. But, the we is a problem.
About translator
Who is "we"? Are both carreteros riding side-by-side? Or did the first carretero go on his way? Maybe "we" is carreteros collectively?
