Which is even though you kept most of the meanings as they initially occur in the original text, you managed somehow to come up with an easy and understandable piece of translation.... And that's what anybody can agree to call a successful translation that is faithful to the original text.

However, you do have something in common with "Sara Ba", as you both couldn't interpret the actual meaning of the expression " رجل لمرا" in Moroccan Arabic dialect. "Sara Ba", who must be thanked warmly for her try -- knowing the fact that she is neither a Moroccan nor a proficient speaker of of Moroccan Arabic dialect, understood the above mentioned expression as "a cool man for a cool woman". Anyhow, you did grasp it differently than her, yet the literal expression you utilize as synonymous term --"woman's man" -- doesn't mean in English what it does mean in "Darija".

Form this one hand, in English, as you may know, "Woman's man" as an informal expression has two meanings. Firstly, it stands for "a male that has empathy, affection, support for all of life's activities that women experience"(1). Simply it means a man who shows unconditional support to women in whatever activity they're doing; for instance, a husband who willingly helps his wife inside home by doing the household activities, such as washing the dishes or cleaning the rooms, can be considered a "woman's man". From the other hand, in Darija it also has two common meanings. Firstly, it stands for "a husband who is submissive unwillingly to his wife in all the aspects of his life"--it resembles the idea of a slave. To illustrate more, it means a husband who is controlled by his wife, due to his weak personality ,she is the one-and-only decision maker at home and out of home, while the husband is nothing but a puppet in her hand-- for instance if they come out to buy him some cloths, she will forcefully select what clothes he must buy-- not giving any small interest to his personal taste. Secondly, it conveys the meaning of " a (jobless) dignity-lacking yet poor male who marries a working or a rich woman so as to provide for him all life's methods of comfort , such as buying all house needs and paying all taxes" ....etc ( in Saad's song "Enty" it reflects the first meaning in the above paragraph)

As we can deduce , the expression "Woman's man" is of a positive meaning in the case of English, while in the case of Darija " راجل لمرا "is of a negative meaning. Furthermore, the meanings are totally different. Thus, we can not use it in this piece of translation and have to replace it with something else that reflects the actual meaning of "راجل لمرا "...()

The possible alternative :

• (You want me to be) a man of a weaker character for you !
•etc ... the meaning is clear now, you can come up with better combination !
