Ok I I checked it and I still think it's Wälder, although it sometimes does sound a bit like Welle

I say Welle, also it makes more sense when you watch the video..

Addition: Coincidently I've found some other Germans who say it's "Welle".

A couple of things:
I think "Where do you go to" and "I go" should be "Where are you going ('to' isn't necessary)" and "I'm going"
"With myself" should be "by myself"

I think "with myself" is more correct here when you look at how it's expressed in the german lyrics.

There are some other lines that seem strage to me but I think first we need the official lyrics. There seem to be a lot of mistakes in the german text (or in the translation) comparing it to the translation.

Sieht soweit gut aus. Allerdings bin ich immernoch der Meinung, dass "ich geh mit mir" mit "I'm going with myself" und nicht mit "I'm going by myself" übersetzt werden sollte. Letzteres bedeutet nämlich "Ich gehe selbst(ständig)/ohne fremde Hilfe".

->
"My wave and my beach"
Ich denke, "shore" wäre eher "Küste".

"hier ist nichts mehr frei"
->
"here is nothing left for you"
???
Das hast du wohl noch nicht an die Aktualisierung angepasst.

Ok ich folge jetzt mal Scieras Empfehlung und habe by in with geändert. :)
Beach klingt aber nach meinem Gefühl zu sehr nach Sonne und Ferien, es geht ja eher um das Land an sich, deshalb habe ich bewusst shore gewählt

You know "Mein Land" translates to "My Country" right?

"Mein Land" can also mean "my land". But I agree that "country" would be a better word choice in this context.
Btw, the author of this translation hasn't been online here since almost 3 years.
