Original lyrics

Be safe on [The Wings of] Wind
Safe journey on the wings of wind, my rose1!
You're out of sight, but never out of my mind
Without you, how I give all my solitude
For my most crimson moment with you
Will it be a field? A prairie? A garden? A meadow?
Where are you heading to, O rose? O wind, whereto?
(x2)
.
Be safe on [the wings of] wind
(x2)
Be safe in the hand of wind
I’ll be following you, if the whirlwind
Doesn't take me to the middle of nowhere
Safe journey on the wings of wind, my rose!
You're out of sight, but never out of my mind
Without you, how I give all my solitude
For my most crimson moment with you
Be safe on [the wings of] wind
(x2)
Be safe in the hand of wind

The lyrics are based on several couplets of this poem by Hossein Monzavi, a prominent Iranian poet, essayist and translator.

This is a poetic, sort of 'stream of conscious', way of speech in Persian. The poet has an [imaginary] dialogue with his beloved, who is leaveing.
Russia is waging a disgraceful war on Ukraine. Stand With Ukraine!
