The translation of the title is pretty loose, I wasn't sure of another way to say this in English.

** honestly, I'm not to sure of this either. I looked up Ertrag and didn't really get anything that made sense here, so yeah. I'll include a source for what I found for the meaning of the word

So ist es immer, denn immer im Ertrag -- Pretty sure that's not it.
"So ist es immer, than(or that) in the evening time" Is what I heard.
Also makes more sense as he keeps switching from German to English and that part.
And I also think: "We are stars and we'll beam on our town" should probably be: "We'll all starve for a moonbeam on our town".
This is what it sounds like to me, at the very least, if you sing along it feels a bit off.

I agree with Newgunz, it's 'So ist es immer, that in the evening time', and the with 'we are stars' does sound a bit off, you can hear him sing more words between 'stars' and 'and'. It's difficult to hear what exactly it is, though:)

About your translation for 'Dieser niedrige Raum ist nicht schlecht', the word 'niedrig' is similar to 'nederig' in Dutch, wich translates to 'humble' or 'small', so it's best translated to 'this humble/small room isn't that bad'. Your use of the word 'lower' isn't completely wrong, but it has a bit of a different connotation in English than it has in Dutch or German. :)

I noticed you translated 'Wir können uns gut verstehen' by 'We understand each other well', which is in itself correct, but very litteral, it also has a different connotation in German. It's more correct to say 'We get along together well'. :)

If you listen very closely when he's singing in English at the "We are stars and we'll beam, on our town", it's actually "We all starve for a moonbeam, on our town". I just realized I've been singing this wrong the entire time haha, just wanted to say something. :)

It's actually:

Dust and storms, stars can't be seen.
We are starved for a moonbeam on our town.

I know it doesn't mesh well in English, but the songwriters weren't exactly experts at English. The raw meaning makes sense and fits perfectly with the rest of the lyrics.
