About translator
Some notes (already have this on my Youtube channel):
1. Another more literal, alternative translation for Dolores' "And Abuela cannot do anything but accept this is sealed as fate" is "(He) makes Abuela helpless to accept this is sealed as fate (for life)".
2. Camilo actually says "waking you up", instead of "scaring you awake", but obviously this isn't terrifying enough to fit into the tone of English, so I made it a little more of it.
3. 準不準確？(sang by the Priest) actually means "is it or is it not true?" , rather than "you tell me if it's true?" but for English viewers I adapted it to convey his frustration and desperation more.
4. The word 總 (Zǒng), within Isabela's first line means "always", and is lost in translation here. What she means is that her prophecy is set in-stone, always true, that one day the life of her dreams WILL arrive. If I did somehow include the word into the English translation...it would break the grammatical laws.
5. Isabela says "什麼話都別說", which would more literally mean "Anything (you'd like to say), don't say it", but I decided on "don't say a word" , it's fine to me.
